Bogdan Pastor

Bogdan Pastor was born in 1982 in Romania, and lived there until his family immigrated to Ohio in 1999.  He studied finance and international business at Kent State University.  Upon graduation he followed his dreams of living in the mountains and moved to Vail, CO where he worked as a ski instructor.  In 2013 he started his truck driver career, and a small transportation business which allows him to feed his passion for arts and photography.  He drives his truck all over the US, but his photography practice is based in San Francisco where he exhibited with Immersive Van Gogh, Villa SF, and The East Cut. His work was published in Kazakhstan by Harper’s Bazaar and in Romania by DOR.

As a photographer he explores the state of having been uprooted, the search that follows, identity shifts, re-adaptation or adaptation to a more universal system. He looks for a deeper harmony and a beauty that just is.
